We are carefully guided down a path during our younger years so that if we ever decide to take the path less travelled (or indeed create your own path) then we suddenly panic because we realise that there isn't a nice clear path laid out any more and we can't find it. So true! Of course that's only if we take a route that no one else has journeyed on.
